Abstrakt
Purpose of the article is to summarize the current trends in education and their impact on the educational system. It aims to highlight the need for adapting both the content and form of teaching to equip students with the skills required to navigate the dynamic changes in the job market and technology. Methodology/methods the article employs a qualitative analysis of various innovative teaching approaches in higher education. It reviews existing literature, case studies, and empirical research to examine the effectiveness of these methods. Scientific aim is to explore and analyze innovative approaches to teaching in higher education. Various methodologies are reviewed such as flipped learning, collaborative learning, technology-enhanced learning, problem-based learning, experiential learning, and competency-based learning. Also, current trends in teaching, such as the use of technology, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality, and their impact on transforming education are discussed. Findings demonstrate that innovative teaching methods significantly enhance higher education. The flipped classroom model boosts student engagement and performance. Collaborative learning fosters critical thinking and communication skills, leading to higher satisfaction and retention. Technology-enhanced learning increases motivation and participation, providing diverse and personalized resources. Problem-based learning (PBL) improves problem-solving abilities and generates enthusiasm for the subject matter. Experiential learning connects theory with practice, enhancing employability skills. Competency-based learning offers tailored experiences, supporting self-paced learning and mastery. Collectively, these methods create a dynamic and effective educational environment, improving outcomes and student satisfaction. Conclusions (limits, implications etc.) The article concludes that innovative teaching methods significantly enhance higher education by boosting student engagement, performance, and satisfaction. However, implementing these methods requires substantial resources, training, and institutional support. There are limitations in scalability and consistency across diverse educational contexts. Despite these challenges, the positive implications include improved critical thinking, communication skills, and employability.
